The City of Sacramento has scheduled a community workshop on the Sacramento Valley Station Master Plan, on Monday, October 16, 5:00 to 7:30PM, at the Green Room at the Sacramento Valley Station, 401 I Street. The flier says: Special remarks by Mayor Darrell Steinberg and a presentation from the project team begin at 5:30 p.m.
If you have been following STAR’s posts on SVS, or you have concerns or ideas about how the area around and to the north of the historic building should be used, this is a meeting you won’t want to miss.
STAR is concerned that transit connectivity is not being given a high enough priority in planning, and that the routing of light rail and bicyclist access through the SVS may not be optimal.
