The STAR meeting this Saturday (10-12 at 1714 Broadway) is our Action Team meeting, but it is also an open meeting for all our members and supporters. The main agenda item will be developing a short list of priority issues and actions for the rest of the year. The preliminary list is available, but we will first brainstorm to add new ideas. We’ll then clarify each action or issue as needed, remove items that indicate little interest, and then prioritize the remainder. The expected result is the three top priorities for the year.

If you like what we are doing, let us know and support continuing. If you think we should change directions or address issues we have not yet gotten to, come and let us know what those are. Your input is critical to a successful outcome.

The meeting location, Organize Sacramento offices on the south side of Broadway, 1714 Broadway, is on SacRT route 51, two blocks from the Broadway light rail station, and is ADA accessible.

SacTRU (Sacramento Transit Riders Union) meets at the same location, 1:00 to 3:00. We intentionally schedule STAR meetings on the same date and location because there is a strong overlap between the organizations, members, and activities. There are a number of nearby places to eat (or drink) lunch between the two meetings.
