We missed posting about the community outreach event for the Dos Rios Light Rail Station in September, but we hope you are still interested in the project. The station would be placed between the existing Alkalai Flat/La Valentina station to the south and the Globe station to the north, along the Blue light rail line. Most significantly, it would serve the Twin Rivers redevelopment project, and well as social services agencies and organizations in the area. The project is awaiting federal approval of the impact statement, final design, and of course, funding for construction. Keep your eyes and ears open!
