SacRT Forward schedule

Traci shared more detailed information about the SacRT Forward schedule than has been available before.

  • Oct-Nov 16: Continue conducting outreach showing off two alternative networks – get public input on preference for system (see schedule: http://www.sacrtforward.com/public-involvement/)
  • Nov 1-16: Online survey will be available regarding the two alternative networks. Encourage anyone that hasn’t seen our plans in person to go online to give input!
  • Nov 12: RT Board presentation of project status (summary of outreach & input to date; discussion of next steps/ heads up regarding presentation to Board in Dec on the Draft Network Design). This would be a good meeting for the public to attend and give comments directly to the Board.
  • Nov 13: RT’s public meeting presenting two alternatives. This would be the last meeting for the public to attend to talk to staff, review and comment on the two alternatives.
  • Nov 17-January: Outreach will discuss unveiling of a Draft Network in December. Encourage public to provide comments to the RT Board members.
  • Dec 10: Board presentation of Draft Network Design; RT Board may choose to vote on plan at this meeting or defer decision to a January meeting. Public should attend to give input on potential new network.
Next Step: implementation of new network including service changes and potential relocation of bus stops as needed.
