The development of a transportation sales tax measure by Sacramento Transportation Authority will be prominent on the agenda.
The ‘unmet transportation needs’ list for the City of Sacramento, developed to submit to the SacTA, and presented at the city council transportation workshop on October 29, was rejected by city council, with direction from the mayor and council to staff to come back with a project list that matches the city’s values and priorities rather than the engineers wish list that was presented. A new list may be presented at the council meeting on November 26.
