The Action Team of Sacramento Transit Advocates and Riders (STAR) will meet Saturday, December 7, 10:00AM to about 11:30AM, at Organize Sacramento, which is at 1714 Broadway in Sacramento. The location is accessible, is served by SacRT route 51, and is two blocks from the SacRT Broadway light rail Blue line station, and there are bike racks out front.
Sacramento Transit Authority (SacTA or STA) is getting close to releasing its draft Transportation Expenditure Plan, part of preparation for a possible transportation sales tax ballot measure (Measure A?) in November 2020, so that will be the main topic of discussion.

- Sacramento Transportation Authority (STA) development of new transportation sales tax measure. The new website is not up. The results of the listening tour and voter polling etc. have not been posted. The consultant has not delivered information and reports as promised.
- SMART and the City of Sacramento have suggested that the TEP development process should be slowed down.
- STAR considers the SacMoves Framework for adoption, and considers full membership in the coalition and as an active member of the working group.

- Expansion of Light Rail: With the failure of the streetcar project, the cities of Sacramento and West Sacramento, along with SacRT, are discussing what the next expansion of light rail should be.

- How should light rail extensions be prioritized, so that decisions are made based on benefits to riders and the public rather than political whims? There are other extensions that might be a higher priority than these two.
