- Sacramento Transportation Authority meets Thurs Jan 9: VMT and GHG metrics from SACOG and AQMD are not expected yet. In fact, Transportation Expenditure Plan development does not appear on the agenda. SacMoves/SMART will be speaking on the 6 policies of SMART’s alternative TEP, during the comments on items not on the agenda. [agenda packet] [presentation]
- Sacramento Transportation Authority and partners have scheduled open houses on the TEP on January 6 in Folsom and January 9 in Citrus Heights, in addition to those that have already occurred December 5 in Elk Grove, December 12 for SacRT, and December 18 in Rancho Cordova. If would have or will attend any of these open houses, please report back to STAR.
- Upcoming meetings
- Sacramento Transportation Authority has scheduled a special meeting on Wednesday, February 5, in addition to its regular Thursday, February 13 meeting. The main topic for both will be Transportation Expenditure Plan development. The TEP is critical to the future of transit in Sacramento County, so you are urged to attend these meetings, speak, and support the proposals of SacMoves and SMART for a better TEP.
- ECOS TAQCC meets the first Thursday of the month, usually, so the next will be February 6.
