YoloBus is seeking public input on it’s proposed network revisions. Check the information and survey page at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/yoloGO. They are proposing changes for Davis, Woodland, West Sacramento, Winters, and the county.
Perhaps the most significant change for the region is increasing 42A/B frequency from 60 minutes to 30 minutes. This is the line that serves Sacramento, Sacramento airport, Woodland, Davis, and West Sacramento.
We encourage YoloBus riders and transit advocates to check the information and complete the survey.

The map below shows changes for West Sacramento. Maps for Sacramento, Davis, and Woodland are also available on the survey page. The survey page doesn’t make clear the details of each change. One that should be considered is making 42A/B express from downtown West Sacramento to Davis. The many-stop route along West Capitol Avenue through West Sacramento makes this bus very slow. I (Dan) have actually beat the bus on my bicycle from downtown West Sacramento to downtown Davis, and vice-versa, when traffic on the Yolo Causeway has been congested. The 42A/B bus and stops could be replaced with a local bus that just runs on Capitol Avenue, providing service for residents and businesses along the street that need local access but aren’t going to Davis or Sacramento.
