SacRT high frequency network

SacRT has a very limited number of high frequency routes. All of the Blue Line light rail, and the Gold Line as far east as Sunrise station, are high frequency with 15-minute service. The Gold Line east of Sunrise to Folsom is on a 30-minute frequency, and will remain until bypass tracks are installed to allow a higher frequency. Bus routes 1, 51, and 81 are high frequency with 15-minute service; route 51 has 12-minute service for part of the day. Routes 30 and 38 combine to offer 15-minute frequency to and from Sacramento Valley Station at the west end, but only 30-minute as they diverge to the east. These are shown on the map below as though they were all 15-minute. This post is a side-trip off the series of posts on light rail, but we want to show that there are bus high frequency routes as well. The map is available as pdf.
