The SacRT Board of Directors will meet Monday, December 9, 4:00 PM, at 1102 Q St, 4th Floor, Suite 4600, Sacramento. Agenda. Public comment is in person at the meeting, on agenda items, or ‘matters not on the agenda’. Comments may also be made by email to boardcomments@sacrt.com, before 1:00 PM on the day of the meeting. Email comments are included in the record but not read aloud, and may not be seen by board members ahead of time, so in person comments are better, if possible for you.
STAR doesn’t see anything of critical importance on this agenda. The board has delegated most decisions to the General Manager, and major issues are rarely discussed by the board, so it unfortunately is not unusual to have an agenda with nothing of critical importance. STAR is concerned that the board is not fulfilling its oversight obligations.
This is the only board meeting of December. The board will not meet on December 23.
Sacramento Transit Advocates and Riders (STAR) 
Rick Jennings will be Chair next year, and Bobbie Singh-Allen Vice Chair. There were several comments about difficulties with handicapped doors and ramps on the new low-floor rail cars. It seems the board may finally take this issue seriously.
