The SacRT Board will be considering the 2025-2026 preliminary budget on May 12, 2025. The nature of the budget documents is that they obscure rather than illuminate the information the public would like to know about the budget. The operating and capital budgets are far down the overall document, after a lot of information that would best be placed in appendices, if at all. As STAR analyzes the budget, we have found it useful to look at the operating and capital sections separately, and to compare year to year. So the pieces below may help you do that. This is just the first step, with more to come. If time allows, we will break out key charts and tables.
