Three members of Strong SacTown introduced themselves to the board during ‘items not on the agenda’ public comment. Strong SacTown is the local conversation (affiliate) of the Strong Towns national organization. Jenny Mital introduced the concept of next smallest step, rather than big projects, which is one of the key concepts in the Strong Towns movement. The graphic below shows this key concept.

Strong SacTown has formed a Transit Team, joining the other transit advocacy organizations in the region. The team is active in discussion and information sharing on their Discord server.
