STAR uses groups.io to manage email and discussion for the organization. To join the ‘main’ group, which is open to anyone interested in transit in the Sacramento region, go to https://sacramentotransitadvocates.groups.io/g/main and click ‘Join this Group.’
We have three subgroups at this time:
- Action Team: For members of the Action Team, as specified by Action Team Membership. This group is by invitation only. All emails to the groups below, plus discussions that vary greatly month-by-month depending on issues and the activities of the Action Team.
- Core: For people who want to be informed of most of the activities of STAR and related to transit in the region, and includes STAR Action Team announcements and agendas. About 2-3 emails per month. To join, go to https://sacramentotransitadvocates.groups.io/g/core and click ‘Join this Group.’
- Inform: For people who have some interest in STAR and transit, but not enough time to keep up. About 4-6 emails per year. To join, go to https://sacramentotransitadvocates.groups.io/g/inform and click ‘Join this Group.’
