SacRT April Board Retreat presentation

During Action Team discussion of our presentation to SacTA (Sacramento Transportation Authority) at their December 13 meeting, people asked exactly what SacRT wants out of a new Measure B for the 2020 ballot. We have heard from SacRT in meetings, and in emails, about what their priorities are, but have not come across an official document. So we will be speaking about the funding streams we want to see: operations, maintenance, and projects which we have already discussed and support, rather than referring to a specific ask that SacRT has made.

The presentation made at the April 2018 SacRT Board Retreat comes closest to revealing what SacRT would want in a sales tax measure, though it does not exactly answer the question. That presentation is linked below. It is large, document-wise, and large, page-wise. The most relevant pages are:

51-53: 2030 Electric Conversion

57: State of Good Repair

59-60: Major Capital Projects

67-73: Financial Challenges & Solutions
